Your places and plans stay with you. Here is what My Community Map by MyKey keeps, and what it does not.

The short version

No account, no sign-in, no ads.
What you type is saved only on your own device. We cannot see it.
We never sell information, and we have none of yours to sell.
You can erase everything with the "Clear my data" button.

Who runs this app

My Community Map by MyKey is developed and owned by MyKey Consulting Services LLC in Bothell, Washington. "We" and "us" mean MyKey Consulting Services LLC. We are a private company. We are not a school, a care provider, or part of any school district or government agency. You can reach us at hello@mykeyplans.com.

What is saved, and where

My Community Map by MyKey is part of the MyKey Family Toolkit. It has four tools: Places I Like to Go, the Activity Planner, the Getting There Plan, and Community Goals.

Everything you add is saved in the browser on your device. That includes the places you like and how you feel about them, the activities you plan with their day, time, place and who is going, your travel plans with their steps, who you will call for help and your "Before I leave" checklist, and your community goals and their steps.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We have no copy. If you clear your browser's data, switch browsers, or use a different device, your work will not be there.

Addresses and other people's details

The app does not need anyone's home address or phone number. Please do not type your home address, and do not type the home addresses or phone numbers of other people. For people, such as who will go with you or who you will call for help, please use first names, nicknames or words like "Mom".

Private details

The app never asks for your name, your address, or anything about your health or disability. Anyone who uses your device and browser can open what you saved, so please think about what you type on a shared computer or tablet. Please leave out last names, addresses and medical details.

What the app does not use

The app does not use your location, your camera or your microphone. It has no map. It has no uploads, no payments and no messages to other people.

What the hosting service sees

The app is hosted by Base44. Like any website, the hosting service can see that a page was opened. It records the page, the time, and a random number that stands for the visit. It does not receive anything you type, your name, or your email address.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking tools.

No AI

This app does not use AI. Nothing you type is read or answered by a computer program. The tools only keep the lists and plans you write yourself.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell information and we do not share it for advertising. Because we collect nothing about you, there is nothing to opt out of, and a browser signal such as Global Privacy Control does not change how the app works.

Erasing your work

You can remove a single place, plan, travel plan or goal with its delete button. To remove everything, press "Clear my data" on the main screen. Clearing your browser's data does the same.

Children and students

The app is written for teens and adults getting out in their community, and for the families and teachers who support them. It asks no one's age and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this page

If the app changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
